These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place on it. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms.

Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Ushas Products, whose address and registration details appear at the foot of this page. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean that business.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to buy from us. If you are buying on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Products and descriptions

Our products are traditional, small-batch foods. Colour, texture, heat and oil content vary naturally between batches and seasons. Photographs are indicative. We describe each product as accurately as we can, but minor variation is a property of the food, not a defect.

Allergens and dietary information

Ingredient and allergen information is printed on each product label. Our kitchen handles mustard, sesame, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preparations, so cross-contact is possible. If you have a food allergy, please check the label and contact us before ordering. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian items are marked per FSSAI rules.

Prices and taxes

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping is shown separately at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have paid for an order.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. If an item is unavailable, or a price or description was listed in error, we may decline or cancel the order and refund you in full.

Payment

Payment is taken through our payment gateway at checkout. We do not receive or store your card or UPI credentials. Orders are dispatched only once payment has cleared.

Delivery, cancellation and refunds

Delivery timelines are set out in our Shipping Policy. Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Storage and use

Please follow the storage instructions on the label. Use a clean, dry spoon, keep the product sealed, and observe the best-before date. We are not responsible for products stored or handled contrary to the label.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your authority.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape it systematically, or to post content that is unlawful, misleading or infringing. We may suspend accounts that do.

Reviews you post

Reviews must be your genuine experience of a product you bought. We may decline or remove reviews that are abusive, fake, or unrelated to the product. By posting, you grant us permission to display your review on the site.

Intellectual property

The Ushas Products name, logo, photography, text and page designs on this site belong to us and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

Our liability

We are responsible for supplying products that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are unaffected.

Events beyond our control

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, courier failure, power or network outages, and government restrictions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Palakkad, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any consumer forum you are entitled to approach under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order.
